With her husband Kanye West’s proclamations of running for President in 2020, it seems the latest Interview magazine cover is foreshadowing of a new Kamelot.
Never one to shy away from controversy, Kim Kardashian West is enthralled with the Steve Klein photographed shoot of her and daughter North, tweeting “She will treasure this shoot forever.” The masses, however, are on opposing sides; some feel a complete disrespect to the image and legacy of Jackie and others feel the reality show maven can do no wrong.
Although the photos with North seem forced, probably due to her nonchalant attitude, I can appreciate the time capsule feel they offer. Taking us down 1960’s vintage memory lane, a time where Jackie’s reign as First Lady consisted of countless photo moments in elegant attire.
Annoyance is typically the first reaction to anything Kardashian related, however the current outrage over this photo session may be unnecessary. The earlier prognosis made of a “new Kamelot”, could simply be Kim playing dress up. However, the verdict is yet to be determined on if husband, Kanye, is serious about running for office. As for whether he has the experience or not doesn’t really matter, because thanks to our current political climate, it appears you don’t need it.
So will Kim Kardashian West take the White House the way she’s taken everything else?
